June 29 Hello my space Friends Hello my friends .I was away for a few days visiting my family . Sorry I was not able to visit anyone for a few days . I seen my mama Rusty . She was happy to have me there . My brother and sister were there too . We all had a nice time . We had burgers on the barbeque . Talked about old times and had alot of laughs . Unforutnely I don't have a digital camera so I am not able to share any pictures with you . One thing I can tell you was that we had fun . Mama's little doggie is a little sick right now . They may have to cut their holiday short due to her being ill but mama won't know for a couple more days yet .
Well I just wanted you all to know I am back home now . I'm just going to chill tonight with hubby and tomorrow I will be back on your spaces to say hello.
Love you All Terry June 25 The Wooden BowlThe Wooden Bowl tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now , a year from now. ****************************************** The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth. 'I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.' There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl. Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food. One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, 'What are you making?' Just as sweetly, the boy responded, 'Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done. For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled. how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. you'll miss them when they're gone from your life. You need to be able to throw something back
I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you June 21 Two Horses In a Feild A story about two horses ,thought I would share it .
Two Horses In a Feild,
Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it.
From a distance, each looks like every other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing.
Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind.
His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing.
If nearby and listening, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field.
Attached to her halter is a small bell. It lets her blind friend know where she is, so he can follow her.
As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see how she is always checking on him, and that he will listen for her bell and then slowly walk to where she is, trusting that she will not lead him astray. When she returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, she stops occasionally and looks back, making sure her friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.
Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges. He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need.
Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping others see.
Good friends are like this . You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.
Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours.

June 12 Hello Everybody Hello everybody how are you all doing out there in space land anyway ???
In Burlington here where I live in Ontario ,it is nice today .It's only 14 today I think .I have my windows opened letting the breeze in ,listening to the birds .
My kitty cats had me awake early ,meowing saying good morning Mommy and wanting to get their mornign feeding . They keep me on my toes .
This is Bandit ,she loves to be talked to and petted . She is quite the Daddys girl too . Her moew goes right through you .She is demanding .She is kind of spoiled .I don't know how she got that way !!!!
This is Smokie .He is a big male cat .He weighs as much as my little niece does .22 pounds . He is a big sook ,and likes to sleep on the bed and on top of clothes .If you stop looking at him when you're talking to him he taps you with his paw .so cute .He is spoiled too ,must of been Daddy ,haha I had 2 other cats but due to illness I lost them .But I keep their memory alive on here and in my heart . Pets and Animals play a big role in our lives . From the smallest insect to the biggest mammal .
I just had a physical last week .Plus a full range of blood work . I got a call Tuesday morning .The results shown I was extremely low in iron . Aparently according to my file .It was low in 2006 , But it was never followed up on .So here I was for 2 years feeling exausted ,like I got hit by a truck .And I didn't know why . Not too mention that I already have a B12 defientcy . Oh my goodness me . Anyway I'm hoping these iron pills wake my body , as I thinks it's been in a coma for a few years or so .
So until I talk to you all again ,this is Peace out From Terry and her Pets Picnic Basket . And Don't forget your furry ,feathered friends . They are Angels in Disgise .
